im always refreshed after service! bible study this evening was great as always. when im in church, my cares are automatically put aside and i just set my heart on worshipping the Lord and allowing His love to embrace me, wash me, strengthen me! a special thing about today's service amongst much learning and revelation was how the very last worship song really touched my heart and i began to tear. the start of the song was ok until i got to the chorus. "Crucified.. Laid behind a stone.." then i felt an apple forming in my throat and my body temperature rising immediately. "You lived to die.. Rejected and alone.." wah.. then i buay tahan and started tearing. and of course i couldnt continue to sing the rest of the song lar. despite knowing that the day Christ laid down His life at the cross on my/our behalf is the greatest victory for me/us, the children of God, i couldnt help feeling sorry and also very moved. for this perfect Son of God, unblemished and sinless, willingly took the ultimate punishment for us. just because He loves us so much. and the title of the song is such an apt declaration of His infinite love for us - Above All.

we are most important to Him.

no wonder "[He] thought of me.. Above all.."

p.s. the song is actually quite hard to sing cuz the key is kinda high for my vocal range :p
